Assignment 5 — Spirograph

A simple spirograph page you can upload to Hostinger. Fill the values (or use defaults) and press Start Drawing.

R — Outer circle radius (20 — 400)

r — Inner circle radius (1 — 400)

O — Pen offset from inner center (0 — 400)

t increment (step)

Instructions

Enter values for R, r, and O. Acceptable ranges are shown on each input. The page seeds the inputs with sensible defaults (R=200, r=75, O=35). Press Start Drawing to begin. There is no stop button by design — refresh the page to clear the canvas and try new values.

Validation rules

R must be ≥ 20 and ≤ 400
r must be ≥ 1 and ≤ 400 (cannot be 0)
O must be ≥ 0 and ≤ 400

Notes

The program will automatically scale the drawing to fit the canvas. If you use integer radii, the curve will often close after a finite t; otherwise it may draw for more steps until a safe limit is reached.
